So good! I remember coming here as a kid, and the food is just as good now! I used to go to Gong's until they closed, but now will keep coming here. Large portion sizes, super friendly, and genuinely tasty food! We got their orange chicken, chow mein, black pepper beef, and hot and sour soup.
This place has the best Chinese food around way better than Hong Kong express and the two ladies working are super friendly would highly recommend been there 5 times already and the food hits every time store was very clean as well.
Wow this place has really good food. The Chow Mein noodles are thick and full of flavor. The ladies working are really nice and attentive and I will definitely be coming back in the future.
The customer service was great, even during a lunch rush on a Sunday. They hook it up on portions! The chow mein, orange chicken, and mushroom chicken are great. The women at the counter are very friendly and attentive. They were dealing with an A-hole customer, but did not let it affect their mood, so props to them.
I've been eating at this place the last 20 years. We didn't have alot of money growing up, so this place became a staple in my family because it was affordable, the food was always delicious, and the ladies always pack your container full! I love this place and hope they stay open for a long long time!
I've been coming here for forever and I love this place. Great food, nice staff, and always clean. And there's a bonus.... I used to work for Coke for about eight years and working there, You just become brand loyal and unfortunately, the wok experience has always been a Pepsi account. So I usually go there after cashing my check at La Bodega on Beach and Slater, which is also a great place and I would buy Mexican cokes and take them with me over there and one day one of the ladies working said oh that looks very good so I gave it to her. And she declined it but I insisted so she kindly gave me my meal for free and she pulled out a few cups and poured some into a few cups and shared it with the other girl working and the cook with smiles on their face. So every now and then if i remember I will buy them mexican cokes and give it to them when I order and then very kindly comp my meals. So I really love this place......
This was my go to Chinese fast food place when I was still employed many years ago. We happen to be in Stater Bros parking lot and I thought The Wok Experience is right there around the corner. We decided it was time that I make a visit after so long ago. Yes, still the same display and quaint seating area. The same counter and drink fountain. The young ladies behind the display are eager to help. The lovely missus points to noodles and sesame chicken and mushroom chicken. My turn and I. Wanted a combo of half fried rice and noodles. For sides I chose tofu/eggplant and a hot pepper chicken. The containers were filled to the top as I paid with a CC to take the food home. The condiments of soy sauce and sambal packs with a couple of fortune cookies were added to the plastic bag. Good service with a smile that deserves a stipend in the tip jar. The Chinese dishes were as good as I remember. The Wok Experience was a truly good revisit for me, and it will be a place to come back to.
Busy place about the same in price as many fast food chinese, but the counter items looker fresher than most. Also, you can get cooked to order menu items at a reasonable price.
